Titles Won by Silvermoon Whippets

Bridget has achieved the following

Bridget was a Therapy Dog

Bridget is our foundation bitch. In other words, she is the mother of all our puppies. Our starting point, our standard.

Bridget has achieved Canine Good Citizen as well as Therapy Dog International Certification by completing the following test.

She was kicked out of TDI because we had a copy of her ID on this web site at one time, and for wearing a Halti to obedience class. Apparently these two things are against the rules of TDI. Before she was kicked out, however, she had gone on dozens of visits and she really loved meeting new people.

We used to take Bridget to nursing homes, hospitals, managed care facilities, spina-bifida camps, Leukemia Camps and any other places where she is needed, wanted or loved. Bridget is a “PEOPLE DOG” above all else and will always run right by the other dogs at the dog park straight to the first human she sees. Bridget attended the Buddy Walk at Remington Park just prior to being kicked out of TDI.

Our male has passed the Therapy Dog International Certification and this time we'll be sure NOT to be proud of his TDI accomplishment. He won't ever wear a Halti anywhere, nor will we show anyone his TDI ID for fear of being kicked out of TDI.

Titles Won by Bridget’s ancestors

Bridget’s great grandfather, DC SportingField’s Jazz Fest SC “Rory” is a Dual Champion! He has won top honors in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy and many other countries. He is the only dog in America, of any breed, to have been number one of his breed in the show ring (1997 & 1998) and then number one performance dog (AKC lure coursing 1999). Rory is quite a hound!
